Urbanity organised a trip to the Majaland amusement park on 29 April for children from the Tachov Children’s Home and the Čtyřlístek Planá Children’s Home. The day spent together brought the children plenty of fun and new experiences in a park full of attractions and games.

The trip formed part of Urbanity’s long-term support for the Tachov Children’s Home. Our aim is to help in the locations where we operate and to create opportunities that have genuine meaning. We direct our support straight to the children, because their smiles and enthusiasm are the greatest reward for us.

“It is never ideal when children have to live in institutional care facilities. Sometimes, however, there is simply no other option, and for these children a children’s home represents a better alternative. We can never replace their parents, but we are able to provide a family-like atmosphere, create a stimulating environment, and ensure safety, education, and opportunities for self-realization through leisure activities. We are grateful that Urbanity is our partner and supporter in bringing wonderful projects to life for the joy of our children. The trip to Majaland was an amazing experience and a beautifully spent day. We sincerely appreciate the support and friendship,” said Zdeněk Kropáč, Director of the Tachov Children’s Home, commenting on the trip.
