Preparation of the Urbanity industrial campus in Bruntál is progressing according to plan. One tangible outcome of the project is the completion of V Táboře Street, a local road that is already serving the city and its residents and will also benefit future tenants of the campus.

Urbanity has built and handed over to the city a complete transport infrastructure package: a new local road including a bus stop, a public parking area, and a direct connection to the first-class road I/11. Final approval was granted in December 2025, followed by the formal handover to the city in January 2026. In doing so, Urbanity went beyond standard developer practice, V Táboře Street was created as a full-fledged contribution to the city and its residents. It has quickly gained popularity and is used not only by drivers but also by locals for walks.

The new road will serve both the existing industrial zone and the future campus, while diverting heavy traffic away from built-up areas. Once the Bruntál bypass, scheduled for completion in February 2027, is finished, the campus will also be connected to road I/45, eliminating the need to pass through the city centre.

“Our goal is to create a campus that becomes a natural part of the city,” says Urbanity CEO Roland Hofman. “The delivery of transport infrastructure is the first step, already bringing direct benefits to the people of Bruntál.”

The completion of V Táboře Street has also paved the way for another long-awaited transformation. Starting in June 2026, Dobrovského Street will undergo a comprehensive upgrade, including a new surface, parking spaces, sidewalks, and lighting. Residents of this part of the city can look forward to a more pleasant living environment, along with traffic calming across the entire area.

Meanwhile, Urbanity has begun construction of the campus itself. It will provide facilities for manufacturing and logistics companies seeking a high-quality environment for growth, and will bring new, stable employment opportunities to the region.
