URBANITY expands the campus in Tachov with a modern production hall

Supporting and developing the local community is an important part of the strategy

URBANITY Real Estate Group is starting the construction of a new production hall in its industrial complex in Tachov according to the needs of its lucrative French client Eurostyle Systems. The production hall will be part of a new industrial campus that will replace the existing 22-hectare urban brownfield site. The construction management will be provided by DEMACO, which was also the commercial intermediary, while the general delivery of the construction will be the responsibility of the URBANITY development division.

Fully automated robotic production of plastic mouldings will take place in the new hall with an area of 12.5 thousand m2. The plastic injection moulding activity builds on the more than 60-year history of plastic production in Tachov, and in addition synergistically complements the production focus of the current clients. The three original production buildings with an area of 32,000 m2 will be completely modernised and the infrastructure of the entire complex will undergo a significant renovation, including, among other things, the modification of two existing transport connections. The emerging industrial campus will thus benefit from its location in the city's inner city, as well as from its strategic position in the immediate vicinity of the German border and its easy and fast connection to the D5 motorway.

In addition, not only employees but also local residents will benefit from the revitalization of the industrial brownfield, which will bring state-of-the-art production processes and long-term, sustainable solutions. They will have attractive new jobs and the opportunity to secure a better standard of living, which will prevent them from having to move to larger, more distant cities.
